Hi I'm Jo

AI is changing everything. Most of us are trying to keep up while leading teams, hitting deadlines, raising kids, and figuring out what is hype and what is real.

This site is where I share practical, unfiltered insights on what it takes to lead through this shift. I write from the perspective of a business leader, a mother, and someone operating at the intersection of commercial strategy, AI adoption, and organizational change.

Over the past 20 years, I have scaled businesses at Nike, Twitter, and Spotify. I have built teams across Japan and Asia-Pacific, led go-to-market strategy, and managed over 300 million dollars in revenue. I have also served as a board director for a publicly listed company. Now I am focused on what AI means for how we sell, market, and lead, especially inside complex enterprise environments.

To sharpen my fluency, I am currently enrolled in MIT’s Executive Program in AI and Digital Business, and the AI Product Management Certificate led by OpenAI’s Miqdad Jaffer.

This space is for operators, founders, and executives navigating the real work of transformation.
If you are building something meaningful in AI, especially in Japan or Asia, I would love to be part of the conversation.

Who is This Site For?

If you’re a business leader, a Sales director or Marketing manager, you’re probably hearing a lot about AI. And deep down, maybe you’re wondering what it actually means for your work, your team, and your future. I built this for you. The ones in the middle of the real pressure. The ones juggling meetings, client expectations, revenue targets, teams, and suddenly expected to “learn AI” overnight. You’re not alone.

It’s also for people who care about the future of business.
If you’re watching how AI is reshaping strategy, sales, marketing, operations, and leadership from the inside out, this is where I share what I’m learning — and how I’m applying it in real life. You’ll find patterns, questions, mistakes, and real-world experiments here, not just trends.

Lastly it is for you parents or young people. I have a 12-year-old and a 9-year-old.
What keeps me up at night is making sure they get the best education — which might look very different from what I had growing up. What to teach them. What to un-teach. I share those thoughts too. Not as advice. Just as someone trying to raise resilient, curious, ethical, and capable humans during a time when nothing stays still.
